Bend the world to your will, as you explore the depths of infinite possibilities, including detailed character customization, total freedom of exploration, and more meaningful choices at every turn. Captain your ship on a dangerous voyage of discovery across the vast unexplored archipelago region of the Deadfire. This is what makes saving at a certain point in the game very critical to avoid losing time and to shorten the overall platinum time.Pursue a rogue god over land and sea in the sequel to the multi-award-winning RPG Pillars of Eternity. So, that being said if you are playing on Galaxy and you reload a certain save after you beat the game, complete the encounter, the game will prompt you on if you want his replacement or Faize. This is how the game works - once you reach a certain point in the game, you will lose Faize naturally, however, you can use him again only after completing the game once on the same save file. Question 2: Do I lose Faize? Does he die? What happens?Īnswer: To avoid issues with story progression purposes, I will do my best to answer this. These fields are all missable due to various reasons.

So in short, the above have to be completed, 100%, in a single playthrough and on a single save file. Sadly, there are, however some things to bare in mind that do not carry over, such as: Once you start a new game, you are starting a brand new file and in essence, a blank slate + battle trophy progress. Once you complete the game, you will be asked to save your game, which I recommend, then proceed to the Post-game. So in essence, you can beat the game on Galaxy (or Earth) with all the battle trophy progress you have obtained for each character and carry that progress to the next difficulty. Their is no New Game + option in Star Ocean 4 - The Last Hope - International, however, your system data carries over all of your battle trophies, only, throughout each playthrough. Question 1: Multiple playthroughs, can someone elaborate on that?

I also know that getting all achievements require multiple playthroughs, and here's the question: can someone elaborate on that? how do the extra playthroughs work? Is it some kind of New Game+ or just start a new game? And lastly, I think I spoiled myself a little while researching to satisfy my perfectionist ass and I know that you lose Faize at some point, but I don't know what that means (dies? just leaves the party and never rejoins?) and that's important for the battle trophies, but in that same random forum comment that spoiled me about this, the dude saidd that on the 2nd playthrough you *don't* lose him, and I'm confused AF.ġ2h feels like a lot of time into the first experience of the game, but I'm completely fine restarting to complete everything I've missed, so, should I restart or I can get everything on a new game+ or something? (Missable shop orders, monster data, etc.)

I'm 12 hours into the game, I just recruited Bacchus, and I'm sure I've already missed some stuff, as I'm playing without a guide. I'm really enjoying it and I want to get all achievements, but I had no idea about anything in the game and I just now learned about private actions and relationship points, and that a lot of them are missable, I also know that there's extra ending scenes that unlock depending on those private actions, either way, I want to unlock everything regardless of if it unlocks an ending or not. Hi, I had the Star Ocean franchise in the back of my mind for years until recently there was a Square Enix steam sale and I grabbed Last hope.
